How it works

Don't Stress. We'll Get You Running In No Time

01

Call or text dispatch

You call (713) 253-5088 or text with your location and the problem — dead battery, flat tire, lockout, need a tow, stuck in a ditch.

02

Get a quoted price

Boutte quotes a firm price over the phone based on the service, your location, and the time of day. No surprises when the technician arrives.

03

Technician is dispatched

A technician is routed to your location with the tools and equipment needed for the job.

04

Service is completed on-site

The technician handles the work — unlocks the door, swaps the tire, jump-starts the battery, delivers fuel, hooks up the tow, or winches the vehicle out.

05

Payment and paperwork

You pay on-site with cash or card. For tows, you sign a release form that lists the destination and any pre-existing damage to the vehicle.

Frequently asked

Common questions, honest answers.

How much does roadside assistance cost across Greater Harris County?

It depends on the service, your location, and the time of day. A lockout or jump-start inside Beltway 8 during the day is the lowest price; a call on the outer loop at 2 a.m. costs more because of drive time and overnight rates. Boutte quotes the price over the phone before dispatching, so you know the cost before anyone rolls.

How fast can you get to me in Houston?

Typical arrival is 10–45 minutes depending on where you are and what traffic looks like. Overnight and early-morning calls are usually faster because there's less traffic. On a freeway shoulder during rush hour on I-10, I-45, or the Loop it can run longer, because the technician has to fight the same traffic you're stuck in.

Do you operate 24/7 in Houston?

Yes. Dispatch is staffed around the clock, every day of the year — overnight, weekends, and holidays. The line works at any hour: call (713) 253-5088.

What if I don't have a spare tire?

A lot of newer vehicles come with a fix-a-flat kit instead of a spare. If the puncture is in the tread and not the sidewall, we can try plugging it on-site. If it's a sidewall tear or the tire is too far gone, let Boutte know when you call so we bring the right equipment.

Will you jump-start my car if the battery is dead?

Yes. We bring a commercial jump box, get the engine running, and test the alternator to make sure the charging system is working. If the battery won't hold a charge or it's old and swollen, we can replace it on-site — we carry common battery sizes for most sedans, trucks, and SUVs.

Can you get a stripped or locked lug nut off?

Yes. Stripped, rounded, or locked lug nuts are one of the calls we get most. We carry dedicated lug-nut extractor sockets and breaker bars to back them out without damaging the wheel or studs, then change your tire or remount the wheel.
